Chapters two, three, four, and five details methods & processes of creating a wide variety of distilled waters, spirits, oils, and acids from the three kingdoms (vegetable, animal, and mineral/metals).

The sixth chapter describes a number of unique spagyric curiosities, experiment, and other particulars.

The seventh chapter is entirely dedicated to experiments involving gold & silver. In this chapter John French describes to us a number of processes involving the use of silver & gold. A few are mentioned here: the aurum potabile, the tree of the philosophers, the elixir from electrum, and his take on the stone of the philosophers.
